OVERVIEW OF THE CONFERENCE
This year’s gathering of thought leaders and policy makers will focus on helping the public workforce system become even more demand driven. Sessions will focus on policies, programs and practices that capture how business and industry engagement is evolving, and how the “supply side” is changing in response to this more in-depth partnership with business.
With the renewed interest in creating apprenticeships that offer a viable alternative to college, MMM will also bring the latest information about best practices and increased funding that promises a renaissance for apprenticeship training.

CALL FOR PRESENTERS UPDATE
The Call for Presenters closed on Monday, June 19th, John Baker CWA’s conference curator advised that we had received over 80+ proposals for session workshops. Here is just a sampling of proposal topics & potential discussion sessions; Business Engagement, Robust Sector Strategies, Taking Regional Work to the Next Level, Working Apprenticeship Models, Supporting the New Economy, Roles and Responsibilities of Workforce Development Boards, Facilitation and Design Methods, Integration & Alignment Within Career Centers, Youth Service Design & Implementation, and Performance Management.
