OUR THEME
Driven by Demand! Inspired (and required) by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, this year’s gathering of thought leaders will ponder, muse and ruminate on how to propel the public workforce system (writ large) into becoming even more demand driven. In short, we want to capture how business and industry engagement is evolving, and how the “supply side” is changing in response to this more in-depth input from business.
Additionally, we want to explore how we might respond to the new and varied demands of millennials and other job seekers who may not be looking for a job or career, but who need and want help to participate more robustly in the new economy.
If you have ideas about these topics, are experimenting with new approaches, want to flout your early successes, highlight your partnerships, or just show off cool stuff, read on.
