Since its founding in 2000, The Center for Social Capital, Inc. dba Griffin-Hammis Associates (GHA) has grown into an international leader in the field of employment services for people with disabilities. GHA operates a virtual company with staff located in the states of Montana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Washington, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Maryland, all of whom have provided direct employment services and managed employment services, training, technical assistance, and systems change projects for the last 25 years. GHA maintains critical partnerships with major universities, American Job Centers (AJC’s), Department of Labor Disability Employment Initiative projects, family groups, advocates, state and federal agencies, rehabilitation training entities, and employs a host of content experts, including peer-mentors in a team of Entrepreneurs with Disabilities helping aspiring business owners. Recent projects include statewide certificate training, technical assistance, and systems change on Customized and Self-Employment development and school to work transition with the state vocational rehabilitation agencies, provider organizations and schools around the country. GHA has provided a lead role in helping AJC’s and partners with implementing WIOA and Customized Employment projects in a number of states.
