The Spokane Workforce Council is 501{c)3 non-profit/local workforce board in Spokane, WA. We are powered by both private and public funding, including Title 1 of the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). Our blend of funding sources gives us the ability to invest in a wide range of innovative projects. We advise and fund the WorkSource system in Spokane, which consists of one campus with a large comprehensive American Job Center, a talent solutions center, a youth career and education center, and an EnVision Center that provide access to housing, healthcare, clothing, food and more. We also have 20 affiliated sites across Spokane county, including at Fairchild Air Force Base. We provide leadership and guidance for more than 115 workforce professionals from a variety of agencies, all working together toward the common goal of helping workers find good jobs, and helping businesses find the right talent.

Our mission is to elevate local workforce efforts with critical insights, researched guidance, innovative funding, and strategic partnerships- so that we can cultivate a flourishing Spokane economy and job market together. We are also committed to assisting other workforce boards and American Job Centers, which is why we offer training and consulting services.
