How do I purchase a registration for the MMM 2019 conference?

I am from out of state, is there a discount for our conference registrations?
OUT-OF-STATE CONFERENCE RATES
Early Bird Out of State Rate – $600.00, rate ends Saturday, July 20, 2018
Regular Out of State Rate – $675.00, rate
CWA’s out-of-state conference rates do not require CWA Membership. In order to qualify for the pricing discount, business address must be from a zip code out side of California.
Do conference session presenters have to register for the conference?
Yes, we do ask that all conference attendees – even those who are not attending conference functions register for the conference.
PRESENTER CONFERENCE RATES
Full Conference Registration – $600.00 *All scheduled meals and special events are included with Full Conference Registrations.
One Day Registration (only applies to presenters) – $470.00 *Meals & special events on day of attendance are included with One Day Registrations.
Not Attending Any Conference Functions – $0.00 *Meals & special events are not included with this registration type.
Note: All presenters attending to present at the conference are required to register.

Can I register a group from my organization using the online registration site?
The Active Events conference registration portal accommodates registrations for a single attendee to groups of 10 on up. If you are registering a group you will create a single log-in and password for the registrations. You will be able to choose standard registrations, special rates, and presenters, etc for each of your attendees that you enter. Step 1 – Select the radio button for the Registration Type Step 2 – Enter the 1st attendees information, (be sure to include the cell phone # for the attendee – they will be using there own cell phones to check into the conference) accept the terms and conditions and click on the Save button. Your 1st attendees information will populate at the bottom of the page. Step 3 – To enter the 2nd attendees, click on Add Another Person. This will clear the cells and allow you to enter the 2nd attendees information. Click on the Save button, and continue to add attendees. Step 4 – Once you have completed adding attendees, Click on Finish & Pay button. Step 5 – Payment; in order to complete the registrations you must select a payment type. Options are to pay with credit card (the registration site accepts VISA, Discover & Mastercard) or you can select the Invoice Me option. I cannot attend MMM 2019 for the full conference period. Is there a discounted registration fee for partial conference attendance?
No. The conference fee is the same, regardless of which events/days you can attend. For the full MMM 2019 experience, we hope you can attend the full conference.
Where can I address my accomodations or dietary restrictions?
If you require any accommodations for registering or attending the conference, please email the Operations Director, Brandon Anderson at email@example.com. Please be specific when describing any special needs. For Dietary restrictions, the online registration for attendees has a drop down menu of restrictions. If you can not locate your restriction type or have multiple restrictions please contact Operations Director, Brandon Anderson at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 916-325-1610.

Conference Parking Update 5-23-19
Parking at the Monterey Marriott Hotel will be limited due to construction on-site, there is local public parking available for those who are driving in daily. What should I wear?
Conference dress is business casual. The hotel and conference center temperatures may fluctuate, we suggest dressing in layers. Note: Wednesday, September 4th in the evening there is a special networking event on the beach.
Is conference hotel parking validated?
The California Workforce Association does not validate attendee, guest, exhibitor, presenter or sponsor parking for our conferences. I went to MMM conference last year; should I go again this year?
You bet! Just as your organization changes yearly, so does the MMM conference in order to meet your ever-changing needs. This year’s MMM conference is better than ever and will showcase engaging workshops, dynamic industry leaders, surprises and prizes galore!
Will my contact information or image be shared?
All California Workforce Association conference attendee lists are shared with a few select conference support providers (i.e. conference registration company and conference app provider), we strive to keep attendee’s information private and secure. In addition, we may use video and/or photography of all MMM conference functions and attendees for CWA marketing purposes.
Will there be an MMM conference app?
YES! The MMM 2019 App will be released in late summer.
How do I stay up to date with all conference communications?
Ensure the domain @calworkforce.org is on your safe list for emails.
